Skype is pretty cool also. The quality gotten better. I’ve use my company CISCO IP Phone compare with skype; skype sometime exceeded CISCO IP Phone that I have using existing Verizon Fiber Optics line – problem might be because my company VPN might be slow. But overall, I’ve use skype for a long time and it’s been working well for me. I have my own private # and it work anywhere that have internet. The only thing is so far it does not have 911 service, so you would have to use your cell phone or call the non 911 # and ask to be transferred to 911 operator.
